The Most Instagrammable Cafes of London

London is famous for its pretty cafes and the foodie that I am was very happy to discover some of them! I have gathered here for you the list of my favorite addresses to enjoy good food in a lovely environment. Here are the most Instagrammable cafes in London!

I mentioned in the details if those places offer vegan, gluten free or dairy free options.

1. Peggy Porschen

With its cute pink facades and pretty cupcakes, Peggy Porschen was on my list since ages. Many places do not live up to their reputation but Peggy Porschen didn’t disappoint! I have been to the Chelsea parlour: the place is nicely decorated and cosy.

I had the opportunity to try the seasonal autumn cupcakes and they were cute and delicious! They are worth the hype! On the table we also had the Peggy’s pink breakfast bowl and the Eggs Benedict.

As I said before Peggy Porschen is famous for their storefront decoration, so you cannot leave this place without taking a photo there!

Vegan and gluten free options

Locations: there are 2 locations: Peggy Porschen Belgravia 116 Ebury Street, Belgravia, London SW1W 9QQ and Peggy Porschen Chelsea 219 King’s Road, Chelsea, London SW3 5EJ.

The Chelsea parlour is the flagship store. They will soon serve drinks in the evening and they have more savory options. You can also book their room downstairs for a private event.

Founded in 2003, the company is headed by award-winning cake designer, author and Creative Director Peggy Porschen. This is the reason why the cakes are so elegant and full of flavours!

2. Feya

I did not hear a lot about Feya before but this cafe was such a great surprise!

A beautiful tree with white blooms is ornating the place with comfy pink velvet design chairs and bench seats. The cakes and  pastries are presented on the counter and all look very appealing!

The bicolor pastel rainbow smoothie bowl was delicious as was the red velvet cake! Their recipe of the Eggs Benedicts with a pink beetroot hummus sauce is yummy a and original. And on top of that, they create really beautiful and tasty latte art, the prettiest being the hot chocolate (the one with the tree in the photo)!

The team behind Feya is quite impressive: the chef Zahra Khan is a graduate of Gordon Ramsay’s Tante Marie Culinary Academy and the breakfast menu is designed by Finnish Award-winning blogger and cookbook author Virpi Mikkonen.

3. Elan Cafe

Elan Cafe is definitely one of the cutest cafes of London! I am obsessed with their flower walls and they have the prettiest pink cakes I have ever seen!

On the table you can see the pink raspberry croissant, the cheesecake, the red velvet cake and the eggs Benedict. They also have a very cool selection of lattes: the pistachio latte and the charcoal latte were very good!

Locations: they have several locations in London

  • Market Place Oxford Circus,
  • Brompton Road South Kensington: I have been to this location, they have a beautiful flower wall
  • Park Lane Mayfair,
  • Selfridges London Oxford Street: the second largest location
  • Hans Crescent Knightsbridge: they have a lovely hearts wall – this one is the largest, spread across 2 floors

4. Dalloway Terrace

In the heart of the vibrant area of Bloomsbury, you will find the Dalloway terrace. This outdoor restaurant has a fully retractable roof but also heaters and blankets, which makes it a perfect place to visit whatever the weather! Their seasonal floral decoration creates the atmosphere of a secluded garden and is very photogenic.

This autumn it’s all about fall colors and cosy vibes as you can see in the pictures. Therefore you will feel like you will never want to leave the terrace after your meal!

I experienced their afternoon tea. In the menu you have a selection of sweets, scones, savories and tea/coffee for £40 person. You can also add a glass of champagne for £10 to £20 more. It was very tasty!

5. Saint Aymes

This place was for sure designed to take pictures! As soon as you arrive, you will see the flowery storefront and understand what I mean: it’s a real piece of art! The cafe is full of flower walls and pretty corners to capture.

Food wise, the menu is full of cute and yummy options: among others their signature Unicorn Lattes, 24ct Cotton Candy and Rose Teapuccino. I had a cupcake and the pink berry granola with coconut yoghurt. They also have a list of savouries.

Vegan, gluten free and dairy free options

Locations: the original address on 59 Connaught Street will be transformed to an event space accepting private parties exclusively following the 28th November 2019. From the 28 November the cafe experience is moving to 318 Oxford Street on the ground floor of House of Fraser. This new location is larger, newer and even boasts a mini manicure station offering nail art & opulent styles by resident artists. Walk ins & reservations welcome.

Opening hours: Monday to Thursday: 10:30 am to 7 pm / Friday to Sunday: 10:30 am to 7:30 pm

6. Brasserie of Light

Brasserie of Light is such an original location with an art deco vibes. Contemporary, artistic and elegant, the place features bold, colourful and light filled interiors. The centrepiece to the restaurant blew me away: Pegasus, a piece of artwork by Damien Hirst, is a 24ft crystal encrusted statue with a 30 ft wingspan which soars over diners with hooves lifted! The bathroom is also very photogenic, it deserves a visit!

I went there for breakfast. The menu is a mix of British and internationally-inspired dishes. There is a great choice of eggs, a full english breakfast, a vegetarian breakfast and some sweet options like pancakes or yoghurt and granola.
