05 May Best Brunch and Breakfast in Paris
As a foodie, I love to enjoy good food in good company and breakfast is my favorite meal of the day! In this article I am sharing with you my favorite addresses to enjoy the best brunch and breakfast in Paris: the best way to start your day in the French capital!
In Paris the brunch is usually a buffet or a menu for a total price of 25€ to 35€ on average (there are also more fancy options in the luxury hotels). As far as I am concerned, I am not always hungry enough for this formula so most of the places on my list allow you to choose your meal à la carte!
I mentioned in the details if those places offer vegan, gluten free or dairy free options.
Sunday in Soho
This cosy cafe was on my list for so long and I was so pleased when I finally had the opportunity to go! The staff is super warm and will make you feel at home immediately: their motto is “good vibes served daily” and you can really feel it!
Here the brunch is a la carte and you can choose in their US inspired menu: bacon and eggs or avocado toast, pancakes or healthy bowls, home made cakes like banana bread or carrot cake,…

Claus has for tagline “the House of Breakfast” so this is already a good reason to go try their brunch! You can take à la carte during the week, or choose one of their formulas around 30€ during the weekend. All the food is homemade and they have sweet (müeslis, granolas, yogurts, breakfast bowls, jam, breads, pastries and bakeries) and savory (eggs, rosti with smoked salmon, salads). My favorite on the menu is their brioche with cinnamon and hazelnuts: it’s a pure delight!!! You have to try!!
You can book in advance or come without a booking, but then you might have to queue for up to 1h depending at the time you are coming.
The good thing is that they have a grocery store where they sell their home-made specialties: jams, müeslis, cookies, cakes…

If you like healthy food and taking care of the planet, this place is for you! Their products are completely plant-based, hormone-free and cruelty-free. The ingredients are organic, local, ethically sourced and pure. If all of this didn’t convince you yet it’s because I forgot to mention that the food is goooood!!!
You can go there for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Here you choose à la carte: for drinks you will find cold pressed juices, smoothies, vitality shots or lates (6€ to 9€), for food they have smoothie bowls or chia puddings for breakfast (10,50€), super bowls and hot dishes for lunch (around 12€), desserts and snacks (from 2,50€ to 5,5€). My recommendation is to try one of their numerous amazing smoothie bowls, their must be at least one that you will love!
Be aware that you might have to queue if you go at rush hour especially if you go to their original first cafe rue Charlot, but the concept is so appreciated that they opened many places in Paris so you can find less busy ones.

Their week-end brunch formula costs only 27€ and offers an unlimited buffet with healthy salads, tasty dishes with meat and potatoes and yummy desserts + an home made juice and a hot drink. I loved the food there and to be honest, I kept on coming back to the dessert buffet haha!!

This small and cute coffee shop serves breakfast, pastries and lunch all day. I was pleasantly surprised with the extremely good quality and taste of the food I had there for brunch! If you are vegan, you will be happy to know that they bake vegan pastries.
