05 May Best Brunch and Breakfast in Paris
As a foodie, I love to enjoy good food in good company and breakfast is my favorite meal of the day! In this article I am sharing with you my favorite addresses to enjoy the best brunch and breakfast in Paris! Going to these places will be the best way to start your day in the French capital! All these amazing Parisian cafes and restaurants offer the best food and drinks!
In Paris the brunch is usually a buffet or a menu for a total price of 25€ to 35€ on average (there are also more fancy options in the luxury hotels). But I am not always hungry enough for this formula so most of the places on my list allow you to choose your meal à la carte!
Before I start to share with you the best brunch and breakfast in Paris, I need to tell you something… Parisians looove to go out for brunch in the weekend and those cafes being some of the best ones of Paris, they are all popular. Therefore, here is my secret tip if you do not want to wait in line starving for 30 min to 1 hour in front of the coffee shop: it’s better to come during the week or early morning during the weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, it starts to get busy around 11:30 and if you show up around noon for sure you will have to queue! Now you know 😉 .
Now let’s jump into the list of the best places to have breakfast and brunch in Paris!
I mentioned in the details if those places offer vegan, gluten free or dairy free options.
Table of Contents
Kafkaf

Kafkaf is a new cafe that opened at the beginning of the summer 2020. Little sister of Bon Bouquet Café (cf. my article about the The Best Coffee Shops in Paris) Kafkaf offers also everyday brunch and specialty coffee. I adore both of these places because not only the food is delish but also the presentation of the dishes is perfect, and the decoration of the venues is lovely! You will want to come here again and again: the top of the best brunch and breakfast in Paris!
In Kafkaf the dishes are homemade with fresh and quality products. You will find all the brunch essentials (avocado toasts, French toasts, pancakes, granola bowls…) with a little oriental touch (spices, orange flower, pistachios…). You will also enjoy this oriental touch in the design of the restaurant!
My favorite on the menu: I don’t know where to start as everything is so good: from their epic grilled cheese ultra-cheesy, to their tasty pancakes with mascarpone, pistachio and raspberries, without forgetting the scrumptious French Toast with orange blossom mascarpone and caramelized pecan nuts… OMG my mouth is watering only by thinking about it! My secret tip would be to pick a few different dishes and shares! This will allow you to enjoy all the amazing flavors!
Vegetarian options.
