Here are the most iconic cafes in Paris! These historical places are famous for a good reason! Discover them all below and read why you cannot miss these cute cafes in Paris!

La Maison Rose

La Maison Rose with pink walls and green shutters is one of the most instagrammable places in Montmartre! Located at the crossroads of the charming rue de l’Abreuvoir and the rue des Saules, this pretty cafe is an institution in Montmartre. It was built in the 1850’s and, believe it or not, it was already pink at the time! It used to be frequented by many painters. Actually, this is the paintings of Maurice Utrillo called “La Petite Maison Rose” which made it world famous in 1900!

You can also recognize La Maison Rose as one of the filming locations in the first season of the Netflix show Emily in Paris.

For all of these reasons La Maison Rose is one of the most instagrammable cafes in Paris! Plus, they have a lovely terrace. You will love it at first sight!

My secret tip: if you want to take a picture of you in front of the restaurant, I recommend coming here early morning before it opens. These are really cute cafes. I loved each of them. I remember visiting one really charming cafe near Eiffel Tower. Honestly, I only needed to use the washroom there. And all I recollect is that I did not have smaller bills, and a kind french lady lent me a coin to use the loo.
